“Why won’t you just quit already?”  That’s what they said. They smirked.  They laughed.  They rolled their eyes and told me I was chasing a pipe dream.  No one saw what I saw.  No one believed I could do this.  Not even me… some days.

Even when I had every reason to.

Even when people around me rolled their eyes and said,

“Why don’t you just get a real job?”

I kept trying.

Kept learning.

Kept testing.

And then—finally—it clicked.
