You don’t need to be a great writer to write great emails.

You just need to know how to get attention… build curiosity… and move people to click.

That’s it.

Email copywriting is simple, once you get the hang of it.

Here’s what actually works:

Step 1: Start with a Hook The first line is everything.

It decides whether they keep reading or hit delete.

So never start with “Hi, I hope you’re well.”

Start with something that makes them stop and pay attention.

A strange story. A surprising fact. A bold claim.

Make them think, “Wait… what?”

That’s the hook.

Step 2: Make It Personal Write like you’re talking to a friend.

Use short sentences. Use contractions. Break the rules of grammar if it helps the flow.

You’re not writing an essay. You’re starting a conversation.

Step 3: Build Curiosity Your job is not to explain everything.

Your job is to make them want more.

The more curiosity you create, the more clicks you get.

Think about movie trailers. They give you just enough to want to see the whole thing.

That’s your job in email.

Step 4: Focus on ONE Thing Don’t try to sell five ideas in one email.

Pick one product. One link. One reason to click.

If you’re not clear, your reader won’t be either.

Step 5: Make the Link Impossible to Ignore Tell them what to do. Make it easy.

Don’t just drop a naked link and hope for the best.

Try:

  • “Go here now to see how it works”
  • “This is the shortcut I use every day”
  • “Click here if you want to skip the hard stuff”

Be direct. Be confident. And always give a reason.

Step 6: Sign Off Like a Human No need to be stiff.

Just end it like a real person.

Sometimes I just say “Talk soon” or “Let me know what you think.”

That’s more than enough.
